Jerry Heying

Mr. Heying has extensive experience in operational planning and coordinating major events both domestically and internationally and has a full range of experience with protective details as a team member, shift and detail leader, and performing advance preparations for private families, entertainers, business and religious leaders on a worldwide basis and has worked protective details and special events in more than 60 countries.


Mr. Heying obtained his Certified Protection Professional credential (CPP) from ASIS International in 1989 and is the Chair for the ASIS Executive Protection Community (former Council), and the past Chair of the Westchester NY Chapter. He is a Certified Security Trainer (CST) from the Academy of Security Educators and Trainers (ASET), a Certified Anti-Terrorist Specialist (CAS), a certified Protection driving instructor, and an NRA, New York and Virginia State Certified Firearms Instructor and has attended numerous law enforcement and security training courses over 40 years. Mr. Heying is a graduate of the Executive Protection Institute, a certified Personal Protection Specialist (PPS), a member of the Nine Lives Associates (NLA) and serves as the Executive Director of EPI and the President of the Academy of Security Educators and Trainers.

Jessica Ansley

Jessica Ansley is the Director of Operations for International Protection Group LLC (IPG), where her responsibilities include staffing and managing multiple executive protection details and security operations globally. Mrs. Ansley also operates in the field, providing close protection, logistics, and planning for individuals worldwide. Mrs. Ansley works with multiple clients to define their needs and budgets. She routinely staffs and offers logistical support for protection details involving protection drivers domestically to multiple teams traveling internationally. Mrs. Ansley has developed systems and protocols for tracking and evaluating all aspects of these operations. She is known for her attention to detail and problem-solving skills.


Mrs. Ansley also serves as the Recruitment and Compliance Manager for the Executive Protection Institute (EPI), where her responsibilities include instruction and support of the day-to-day operations of the Institute. After graduating from EPI in 2010, Jessica immersed herself in the complex legal requirements concerning protection and training and is a subject matter specialist in Virginia Private Security Services. Jessica is a registered Personal Protection Specialist (PPS), a recipient of the Dr. Richard W. Kobetz Achievement Award, a member of the Nine Lives Associates (NLA), a Certified Security Trainer (CST), and a member of the Academy of Security Educators and Trainers (ASET).
